Verisurf CMM software:
Verisurf is an add-on for Mastercam. This gives access to 3D CAD on top of the CMM features. Very easy to go from measured features to 3D solids, surfaces and wireframe, with drafting/GD&T and 2D/3D PDF output of model and reports.
Romer 6 and 7 axis portable CMM arms:
6 axis arms are used for tactile measurements of features such as planes, cylinders, spheres. Where there is little need for many points to define a feature.
7 axis arms with scanner are used to reverse engineer complex (organic) parts where many points are needed to define the shape. And also in rapid part inspection where the scanned part point cloud is overlayed on the 3D CAD model of the part.
“We have purchased two ROMER arms from Paul and have experienced exceptional customer service.”

Verisurf: CMM Software. A common platform for many CMMs
Verisurf is used for inspecting, reverse-engineering and analyzing CMM data from portable CMMs, fixed CMMs, laser, and optical devices. Verisurf has deep roots in the aerospace industry, and is also used in the racing, energy, automotive and marine industries. Verisurf is compatible with CATIA’ s FTA/MBD. Verisurf is used in the Maritimes to measure aerospace parts, defense-related parts, racing car engines, automotive fuel components, marine propellers and more. Visit Verisurf Website >
ROMER: Portable CMMs
ROMER, a product line of Hexagon Metrology, is a world leader in portable articulated measuring arms. Ranging from 4′ to 14′ in reach, ROMER portable CMMs can be used to measure big, awkward parts on-site (i.e., propellers, welding fixtures, automotive exteriors/interiors, and tubing/piping). These portable coordinate measuring arms come in 2 configurations: 6 axis for measuring in tight places, and point-based feature measuring, and 7 axis with integrated laser scanner for usually reverse-engineering of complex shapes, rapid part inspection or where scanning is needed.
